You've decided to come to YKW for the first time, but you're nervous about meeting other couples to take part in your swinging experience. Communication is very important at this point, and will ensure you have a good time. There are a couple of things that you can do to make sure that you have the best experience possible:

• Make sure to lay out the rules with your partner. Establish the boundaries that you intend to have so there is no confusion or embarrassment later. For example, if you don't want to kiss on the lips, only play in the same room, only girl/girl play, oral only and not full swap, only want to play with a single lady or gent - make sure that is clear. Know your rules first that you and your partner are comfortable with and stick to them.

• When you arrive - don't be shy! No one wants to talk to someone who is hiding in the corner! You don't have to dance around naked (on the first night), but don't be afraid, either! If you sit at your table with your head down or playing on your phone the whole night people will think that you do not want to be bothered and will not approach you. Don't expect everyone to come to you, you need to make an effort and introduce yourself to people to let others know you're ready to make new friends and have some fun.

 

• Make sure to have clear expectations with the people you're talking to. Find out their rules to and what they are into. Let them know your rules as well, this way if you do play no one's feelings get hurt or someone tries to do something that the other person does not want to do.Make sure to have clear expectations with the people you're talking to.
