WHAT IS YKW - YOU KNOW WHERE?
YKW or You Know Where is a private 14,500 square foot, member only swingers club, that we remodeled for exclusive use to people that are in "swinging" or the "lifestyle".
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND YKW?
The following information is for current members. YOU MUST BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND OUR PARTY. We are currently cash only and do not accept cards or any other form of pay.
Membership

Basic Membership - $10 per couple or single, membership is good for one year.

VIP Membership - $40 per couple, membership is good for one year.
Entry Fee

Couples Cost - Entrance fee to YKW is $40 per couple (m/f), not $40 per person. Couples do not have to be married.

Couples With Single Male (With Reservations) - $40 for the couple and $30 for the escorted single male. However, this is only if the couple made a reservation and informed us by phone, text, or email before the party starts that they are bringing a single male and provides all three first names.

Couples With Single Male (No Reservations) - $40 for the couple and $100 for the escorted single male that is with the couple that did not make a reservation.

Females - $5 for single ladies. Single ladies may either be by themselves, with another couple, or as a f/f couple.

Males by themselves - Not allowed on Saturday night, they are allowed on Friday night. Single men (meaning by yourself, not married or single) may not attend by themselves on our Saturday parties, for more information on this please see our single male policy. However, we do have a party on the every Friday that we do allow males to enter the club by themselves.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER?
Yes. There is a membership at YKW and everyone at YKW is a member. YKW is a private club and is not open to the public. North Carolina law does require us to charge a yearly membership fee in order for us to be considered a private member only club.
In order to help offset the membership fee we do have a $10 off entry fee coupon that is good for all new first time couples for their first visit only. We do not ask for any personal information such as your home address, phone number or email address. At YKW your lifestyle experience is a private matter.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN ANYTHING?
Yes. The only thing that everyone who attends our parties must sign is an agreement form that states that you are at least 18 years old and understand that our parties are of an adult nature and that you are not offended by adult situations.
It also states that you are aware that we do not sell, or serve alcohol to anyone and that no drugs are allowed on our property. That if you are a member of the media or law enforcement, you are at our club on your own free will and not here to gather anyone's personal information or make anyone's personal information/identity known to the general public. This agreement is then securely filed in a separate location away from the club and never given to anyone.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO ATTEND YKW?
Everyone that attends our parties must be at least 18 years old to enter and 21 to drink. Everyone who wishes to become a member must show a picture ID, no exceptions.
WHO COMES TO YKW?
There are a variety of people who come to our parties of all backgrounds, ages, and experience. Everyone from novice and just curious, to intermediate and experienced attend our parties. Anyone that would like to attend one of our parties are more than welcome. The couples that attend our parties come from all walks of life but share one thing in common; they want their lifestyle experience to be a PRIVATE matter.
WHAT IF I SEE SOMEONE I KNOW AT YKW?
The one good thing about seeing someone at YKW is you can be sure they are in the lifestyle or curious like yourselves.
YKW is totally private, so you do not have the problems like at hotel socials where non-lifestyle families and children abundantly look you over in the hallways and common areas. If you see someone you know just remember that they are here for the same reason as you and everyone has signed a legal privacy form.
ARE THERE HOTELS NEAR BY?
Yes, there are hotels less than a mile from the club. There are also many other hotels to chose from nearby. Click here for a list of nearby hotels.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
YKW does not have a strict dress code as we like to give everyone the freedom to dress the way they like.
However we do suggest that you dress to impress, let's face it we are all here to make new friends. If you look like you have not recently taken a shower, worked outside in the hot sun all day, or rolled around in the mud with your clothes on you will most likely be sitting by yourself wondering why no one wants to talk to you.
We suggest that you either dress nicely, in club wear, sexy, slutty, casual, nude, or in the theme for that night. We strongly suggest that at the very least you have good personal hygiene (take a shower, comb your hair, brush your teeth, etc.) Doing these things will greatly increase your chances of meeting other people and making new friends.
You are allowed to be as comfortable as you wish and dress anyway you would like. Some couples will leave their house dressed in one outfit and then change into something else when they arrive at the club. We also have lockers that you may place your clothes in, These are free of charge and we even supply the lock and key.
DO YOU SELL OR SERVE ALCOHOL AT YKW?
No. We do not sell or serve any alcohol at our parties. Our parties are BYOB, so you may bring your own alcohol, limited to beer and wine products only. No hard alcohol is allowed, we do not have a liquor license.
If you are caught sneaking in any hard alcohol or anything else illegal you will be asked to leave immediately, given a 30 ban from the club and your membership will be noted. If you are caught a second time you will be given a lifetime ban from the club and not be allowed to come back.
Please do not try to sneak hard alcohol into the club as we are inspected and checked by ALE. Anyone caught with hard alcohol by ALE will be given a $286 fine by them and you risk getting the club shut down.
We do have coolers that you may use to place your drinks in to keep cool, but we are not responsible for your drinks if you use these public coolers. The coolers are open to everyone to use and are in plain sight for everyone to see but that does not mean someone might accidentally grab your drink by mistake. We also have a cooler that is behind a bar and watched by a member of staff, if you would like us to watch your drinks for you this service is free. If you are unsure then you are more than welcome to bring a cooler to place your drinks in and keep with you.
ARE THERE SMOKING & NON-SMOKING AREAS OF YKW?
Yes we do have a smoking lounge inside the club, all other areas of YKW are smoke free and we do not allow anyone to smoke inside except for in one area of the club that is fully enclosed. This room has ashtrays, tables, and chairs along with an air purifier and a very powerful vent that sucks out all of the smoke so the room is not smoky at all.
MAY I COME TO YKW IF I BELONG TO ANOTHER CLUB?
Yes, we welcome all lifestyle couples to come check out YKW. You will probably find that you can enjoy a variety of lifestyle events or clubs. We have other club owners visit YKW when they don't have a party of their own. We do not care if you belong to another club, we just want you to have fun no matter where you go or what club you belong to.
Lots of YKW couples are members of other lifestyle clubs. While some lifestyle clubs seem to try to keep members from experiencing activities outside their own "community", we encourage couples that visit YKW to experience the full realm of the lifestyle adventure. At YKW it is all about couples not clubs.
WHAT ABOUT PROSTITUTION?
Prostitution is illegal in North Carolina and is not allowed at YKW. Anyone found soliciting for prostitution will be banned from YKW. We do not hire females or males to be in the club to entertain you, flirt with you, or anything else, everyone attending our club does what they want of their own free will and not because they are being paid. If anyone tells you they will do something with you for a fee then tell a member of staff so we can escort that person out of the club as that is illegal and we will not tolerate that.
DO YOU HAVE TO "SWING" AT YKW?
Absolutely not, there is NO pressure at all to swing. YKW is fun and where new couples, soft swingers, and experienced alike can explore the lifestyle in a relaxed sensual private place.
YKW provides the opportunity for everyone to meet and make new friends in the lifestyle, no one is required to do anything. You will not be required to be dressed a certain way or to do certain things, nor asked to leave if you just sit and don't talk to anyone. There are no structured swinging activities at YKW; participation in the lifestyle is an individual choice and not required or expected.
IS YKW CLEAN?
YKW is thoroughly cleaned after each party. It is disinfected and cleaned to CDC (Center for Disease Control) guidelines after every party and made ready for the next event. One of the owners of YKW was a former infection control nurse and has extensive background and knowledge on how to stop the spread of germs and viruses.
All beds, door knobs, walls, equipment, contact surfaces, etc are wiped down (using spray/wipe/spray method of disinfection) and cleaned according to CDC guidelines with CDC approved products (ie. cavicide, virex, etc).
We have infection control training/knowledge and use this approved method to keep everything as clean as possible. We work hard to keep the club clean before each party starts and ask that the members help us keep the place clean by picking up their trash and informing staff of any spills so that we may clean them up.
All of the beds at YKW have the original factory plastic still on them, then they are triple wrapped in thick black plastic, we then place a fully enclosed mattress cover over top of that, next we place a thick rubber fitted sheet on the beds and finally clean fresh sheets are provided in each room with plenty of extra sheets on hand. Our bedrooms are cleaned so thoroughly in between parties using the above mentioned CDC guidelines, that we believe our beds are cleaner than most hotel beds you may have slept on.
We encourage all of our members to please clean up after themselves. You will also see not only our staff, but the club owners as well, constantly cleaning during a party.
